SUCH AS THE GREYEAGLE - THE SOG
There was a time in our history
that demanded such as them
And, thank you, God,
There were such as them.
The soldiers who were
of the shadows and mystery.
Only now wondering this.
Would they be denied
A place of honor
In our history.
Those glorious soldiers
Who were not there.
We demand light.
We give you remembrance
silent warriors of Asian war.
A special place in our hearts
A place in our memories
Covered with laurels
and saluted with love....
For we know the price you paid
...Over and over in blood.
