BECKY'S GLASSES

Hi, all....
I was looking at the club pictures today and while checking out Becky's pictures of her model ships, something caught my eye. In one of the pictures, there was a chair and on the seat of that chair was a pair of Becky's glasses. All of sudden, I felt so very sad, because I naturally thought of her and the fact that she is not physically with us anymore. But, I also felt grateful for the fact that she did grace our lives, even though we wished it could have been longer.
I hope no one minds, but I took the liberty of copying the picture and cropping the section containing the chair. I darkened it a bit and cropped out a corner of the table and added a frame. I thought some of you would like to see the results. I couldn't help but think of the "vacant chair" memorials which are intended to remind us of the veterans who are no longer with us.
With love and huggzz, I am

Nancy,
This is the kindest, sweetest gesture of love and recognition to Rebecca that I have seen in a very, very long time.
Reading your words and then looking at the picture brought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes as it did all of us here. JJ called me from Arizona and told me to use his I.D. to look at this and it sounded like he had a lump in his throat although he says he was coughing from the cigarette smoke (he doesn't smoke).
On behalf of her husband, her daughters Echo and Angi and all of the rest of her family, thank you so much for this wonderful remembrance. Words fail me know because tears and getting in the way of my writing. Thank you seems so inadequate but it's all we have.
With Love and Thanks
