BELIEVE
I never thought it would be so hard
to raise a good son and be a good Mom
I always grew up wanting to believe
that Heaven had Angels and God made everything
Now that I’m grown and I have my wish
a beautiful child – God’s special gift
I’ve come to realize that Angels abound
not just in Heaven but here on the ground
And that dove that I dreamed of
the one with great wings
turned into an eagle
and took me on journeys
Great and proud this eagle did fly
just as the unicorn there at her side
she showed me things that made my heart cry
she made me believe in the life after life
she made me feel like there was someone who
knew what I went through
That eagle was you
You were my shelter out in the cold
you made me happy every time we talked
you made me feel things I never did before
you made me believe in the Heavens above
