HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY, MOMMA
Tell Daddy I love him and give him a kiss for me please. Everything is going well here. I don't get scared like I used to, but it helps having Alison and Cody here, but sometimes I still get scared and just hide in my room when I do. I Take Rufus and Molly with me, and Buster guards the door.
You're going to be Grandparents again; Alison is going to have a baby
We almost lost Cody the other day, but he's fine, just shook up and bruised. Alison was so frightened; when she saw he was all right, she whacked him alongside his silly head and told him if he ever scared her like that again, she would kill him.
The weather is getting nice, days are warm and sunny, and nights are becoming quite pleasant. I'm doing most of the House Calls and outcalls now, really don't want Alison out like that. Tell Daddy that the Apache is running like a top, I had to have extensions put on the pedals and a cushion made so I sit on it to see over the dashboard.
Rufus, Buster, and Molly go with me everywhere. I have nine new horses; I love them all. My favorite is "Commanche" he's so beautiful and so verrrrry fast. I better go now momma, give Daddy my love.
And Momma, I miss you so very, very much and I wish you were still here with me to help me and to guide me and to hold me when I get scared. Momma I love you so much it hurts sometimes; and sometimes, when I see things that you loved, I turn to tell you but you're not there and I feel so alone.
Momma, I put a dozen red roses, (I grew them myself especially for you) on the Canyon Rim for you this morning. Did you get them? I hope you like them. I have to go now Momma, remember I love you. I'll write more later.
Your Loving Daughter
Becky
